Food Security

Everyone needs to eat! Chuck believes that the foundation of a strong and thriving Maryland economy is families who have enough food. Universal school lunches and agricultural partnerships with local farms can bring better food quality and food security to Maryland families.

Child Care

The costs of child care have skyrocketed, and young families are feeling the pinch. Meanwhile, the people who care for our future are barely paid minimum wage. Chuck will look for ways to reduce the cost of child care by exploring solutions that have worked in other states, such as shared spaces, partnerships, and state funding.

Medical Expenses

Medical expenses are outpacing almost any other expenditure in the United States, while the care we receive becomes more and more limited, and provider shortages are acute. Chuck will work with local care providers to build community-centered medical care that puts people over profit.
